About

David brings marketing experience spanning across branded content, marketing analytics and entrepreneurial ventures.

He started his career in account management and business development roles at branded content agencies in the UK and the US, helping clients like American Express, Saab, Chase, Oce, Alcatel and Alstom grow their business through engaging content.

Moving to Kantar Media, WPP’s global insights consultancy, he led the marketing strategy and execution for a portfolio of advertising and marketing analytics SaaS tools tracking 22 different media – everything from TV product placement to social media. There – amongst many other skills – he learned how to use the logic of data to support a wider narrative.

David has launched several businesses, including Gotham Mysteries, a company specialized in scavenger hunts based on New York City’s history. In 2013, after a first run as a marketing consultant, he joined Centerforce Conferences, which he helped grow from 1 to 24 events yearly, establishing a portfolio of highly-respected intellectual property and diversity conferences across the country.

As a Swiss-born, British-American raised in France, David has always been immersed in multiple languages and cultures. While it never helps with driving on the correct side of the road, this multicultural perspective is an asset when it comes to examining an issue from different perspectives.

He holds a Licence (BA) in Communication and Culture from the Universite Francois Rabelais in Tours, France and a MSc. in Media Management from Stirling University in Scotland.
